Meeting Details:
WHAT: Weekly Mindfulness and Peer Reflection Meeting
WHEN: Every Tuesday, beginning December 16, 2025
WHERE: The Studio, South Lake Tahoe
WHO: Open to all ages and all forms of recovery (substance abuse, mental health, behavioral health, trauma).
What Makes This Meeting Unique?
Radical Recovery is founded on the principles of grassroots support, holistic healing, and disciplined action. This new meeting perfectly embodies those pillars by providing:
Mindfulness & Reflection: The focus is on stillness, self-awareness, and developing the internal tools necessary for sustained recovery.
Expert Guidance: The meeting will be hosted by a trusted South Lake Tahoe community member—an experienced practitioner specializing in contemplative and indigenous healing traditions.
All-Inclusive Peer Support: This is an open space where your path is honored. Whether you follow a 12-step program, harm reduction, therapeutic recovery, or anything in between, you will find welcoming peers and zero judgment.
Community Connection: We are actively fighting isolation by building a real-life community hub for South Lake Tahoe recovery peers.
Why Mindfulness Matters in Recovery
Recovery is an ever-evolving path, and mastering your inner landscape is crucial. Practices like mindfulness and reflection help interrupt harmful thought cycles, reduce stress, and strengthen your ability to stay present—tools that are essential for long-term well-being.
Join us at The Studio to connect with your body, mind, and the resilient Tahoe community.
In collaboration with Wise Recovery, this open meeting invites all paths of recovery to join a space for mindfulness, reflection, and peer connection guided by an experienced practitioner of contemplative and indigenous healing traditions.
